Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Glade, a service operated by Memriq Holdings, Inc. ("Memriq", "we"). By using Glade you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with your information.

What Glade is, and what it is not

Glade is a learning companion. You tell it what you want to learn and it organizes a path, prepares sessions, tutors you, gives feedback on your attempts and helps you make time for learning with Memriq's Helm. Glade's learning material is generated with AI models. Material in a session or a course is checked against its sources before you see it, and a quick answer that was not checked is labelled so. AI can still be wrong or incomplete: check anything that matters before you rely on it. Glade is not a school and does not award credits, grades or credentials.

Who can use it

Glade is only for people aged 16 and over. You confirm this when you start. Glade is in an invitation-only early access period: you need a Memriq account and an invitation that has been accepted for Glade — joining the waiting list and being invited, or redeeming an invitation code. An invitation is personal; do not share or sell it.

What Glade will not do

Glade helps you learn; it does not do assessed work for you. It will not complete coursework, exams or other work you will be graded on as if it were yours. It does not give clinical, medical, legal or hazardous-repair instructions; on those it explains concepts and points you to a qualified person. Feedback on a photo, recording or video never tells you whether you are injured, healthy or ready for something harder, and Glade never pushes you on to a harder physical activity.

What you put into Glade

Save, forward and upload only material you are allowed to use. If you connect a mailbox, Glade reads it to find learning material and archives only the emails whose items you accepted. Do not use Glade to monitor or profile anyone else.

Glade acting for you

How far Glade may act without asking you first is your setting, and Glade tells you what a setting allows before you choose it. At every setting Glade waits for you before it archives an email, sends anything, shares anything or books or pays for anything. You remain responsible for anything you approve Glade to do.

Your account

Keep your sign-in to yourself and tell us at hi@memriq.ai if you think someone else has used it. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Early access

Glade is new. Features may change, pause or be removed, and it may be unavailable at times. It is provided as it is, without promises that it will be error-free.

Price

Glade has a Free plan and an Individual plan; what each includes is shown in Glade's settings under Plan. During early access no payment is taken. If that changes, we will tell you before you are asked to pay, and you will not be charged without agreeing.

Limits on our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, Memriq is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make using Glade's material, feedback or suggestions. Nothing in these terms limits a responsibility the law does not let us limit.

Ending

You can stop using Glade at any time, download or delete everything in your Glade, and ask us to close your account, as the Privacy Policy describes. We may suspend an account that misuses Glade as described above, and we may end early access, or your access, with notice where we can give it.
